Neuer Titel für unsere Jahreswertung: Ab 2025 wird aus dem High Point der PHCG Circuit Champion
Ab dem Turnierjahr 2025 erhält unsere Jahreswertung einen neuen Namen: Aus dem bisherigen High Point Champion wird der PHCG Circuit Champion. Damit möchten wir unsere Turnierwertung klarer und transparenter gestalten – und gleichzeitig besser an internationale Standards anlehnen.
Was ändert sich konkret?
In die Wertung fließen ab 2025 ausschließlich APHA-Punkte ein, die auf PHCG-anerkannten Turnieren in Deutschland erritten wurden. Aktuell zählen hierzu:
- Nord Paint
- Westfalen Paint
- Bayern Paint
- German Paint
Nicht mehr berücksichtigt wird die Euro Paint.
Wer wird gewertet?
Wie bisher erfolgt die Auswertung getrennt nach Divisionen. In allen fünf Divisionen werden jeweils die Plätze 1 bis 3 vergeben:
- Open
- Amateur
- Novice Amateur
- Youth
- Novice Youth
Was bleibt gleich?
Die Grundlage der Wertung bleiben die auf den genannten Turnieren gesammelten APHA-Punkte.
Warum diese Änderung?
Mit der Beschränkung auf nationale Turniere schaffen wir eine einheitliche und nachvollziehbare Vergleichsbasis. Zudem ermöglicht uns diese Struktur eine rechtzeitige und feierliche Ehrung der Circuit Champions im Rahmen der PHCG-Jahresveranstaltung im November.
New Title for Our Annual Awards: Starting in 2025, the High Point becomes the PHCG Circuit Champion
Beginning with the 2025 show season, our annual performance awards will carry a new title. What was previously known as the High Point Champion will now be recognized as the PHCG Circuit Champion. With this change, we aim to make our ranking system more transparent and aligned with international standards.
What’s changing?
Starting in 2025, only APHA points earned at PHCG-approved shows within Germany will count toward the rankings. Currently, these shows include:
- Nord Paint
- Westfalen Paint
- Bayern Paint
- German Paint
The Euro Paint will no longer be included in the evaluation.
Who is eligible?
As before, results will be evaluated by division. In each of the five divisions, placements 1 through 3 will be awarded:
- Open
- Amateur
- Novice Amateur
- Youth
- Novice Youth
What stays the same?
The basis for the rankings remains the same: APHA points earned at the specified shows.
Why this change?
Focusing exclusively on national shows ensures a consistent and comprehensible evaluation standard. In addition, this structure allows for a timely and celebratory recognition of the Circuit Champions at the annual PHCG event in November.
